We are Robby and Heather, a couple of crazy marketing-obsessed kids who fell in love and decided to partner in everything: parenting, our marketing agency HALA Connected, and this podcast.
We are avid readers and self-actualizers who want to build a network of people just like us – those who want more out of their marketing dollars, business lives, and personal lives.
Are we just for marketers? Nope! Anyone with a dream, a job, a side hustle, or who knows someone with any of those things will find nuggets of freaking gold in our shows…yes, we are that confident. (Confidence is Episode 2 and we might be a little high on ourselves after recording it.)
We are frustrated with crap marketing, with seeing amazing people live our mediocre lives, and with watching everyone around us (and us, if we’re honest) constantly bombarded and being fooled by themselves, industry, and the powers that be.
We hate the word “disruptors” and wish we’d invented it so we could kill it…but that’s kind of what we are.
So…why are we giving you the milk instead of getting you to buy the cow? 2 simple reasons:
- We’re also launching a membership site with oodles and oodles of video training, and this podcast is one way to get that message out.
- We believe in training you to do things properly. By everyone doing good marketing based on their budget, not only will our entire industry rise to the new expectations, but we will fulfill one of Heather’s oldest credos: We train you properly when you have time and no money so you will grow until you have money and no time…at which point you hire us, the experts you know and love. WIN-FREAKING-WIN AMIRIGHT?
So that’s us. This is our passion project. And we hope you love it as much as we do.
